很多人翻译英文财经新闻都会头疼。那些关于国家宏观经济数据，或股市大盘分析以及企业股价高低变化的描述，看起来真费力。

　　升与降，高与低

　　英文词语中关于经济数据下跌的描述有很多种，如fall, drop, be lower, slip等，更为严重的还有plummet和collapse等。

　　微跌：slip, drop, down

　　Chinese stocks slipped in early trade, with Shanghai stocks dropping 0.7% and Hong Kong's Hang Seng down 1%.
